Project Implementation in 3 Phases

The project is being implemented in three phases over a period of about 8 months:

  • Phase 1: Unified OPAC

    Establish a unified online public access catalog (OPAC) to facilitate the discovery of books across all public libraries within a specific area.

  • Phase 2: Core Activities

    Transition to paperless library operations by initiating the digital circulation of books and streamlining other routine tasks.

  • Phase 3: Community Engagement

    Launch community engagement initiatives such as online radio, a geospatial catalog, and a local knowledge base to evolve public libraries into vibrant community hubs.
